reloaded with pics hopefully

The cabs are 3 way horn loaded with beyma 755ti pd123er mounted in a mt121 (should have been mounted in sp12 horns, come on Mykey get them over here!!) and a pd158 in a folded horn of my own design, there are no construction pics of the cabs, when the SP12's finally arrive I will rebuild them.

no the boxes will be scrapped after the sp,s arrive, I have a slight design mod for the kick section so it will bolt in and out as one unit for driver replacement. It is a very simple folded horn design with letter box throat on the PD158

When I get them rebuilt I will post pics of build and plans as well

At 15 meters away it was like being kicked in the chest with a size ten boot, can't wait to find somewhere for a real full on test

Very nice. What are your xover points in these boxes? And how low does your hybrid kick run to?

Taking inspiration from everywhere, the top horn is a modified MT121 and the kick is my own design, it really does as described "kick" very happy with the outcome, they are being rebuilt when the SP12 arrive, I have some design mods to do then so keep looking on.

Cheers Shaun

What are you going to do with these cabs when you rebuild them. If you are selling them i would be interested in a pair.

They will go to the great bonfire and rise from the ashes
I will not sell them as i do not want anything inferior out there that I may have done, keep watching, I think you like the new ones better

MAX_SPL. On these boxes, is the port for the 12" section and the 15" fold horn in a sealed rear section?

The 15" kick is ported and the 12" is sealed at the rear.

When I do the rebuild I will make the ported chamber of the 15" slightly bigger,

I thought it was the case with mykeys sp12s that they have a back bowl so therefore don't need to be a specific sized cabinet to put them n as long as they fit obviously...
