| I wonder if they isolated the cones in their own chambers. seems like that would be a pain in the ass. I could see using a fridge for a dual box with two of the same drivers or possibly with one being a closed back driver, but trying to partition the fridge for two chambers seems impractical. Should have used fridges with an independent freezer and fridge door. Probably they wanted the old school retro fridge look though. |

I think they are real fridges, but looking again, I am noticing that the top photo shows two fridges with identical driver arrangements and then the photos below, the drivers are in different formation. I wonder if the top photo was shopped or if they have made multiple enclosures like this.
edit: looked again and the Top photo is totally shopped. All of the highlights are in the same spots on both fridges, so they just mirror image split and then colored the one on the right orangey.

After taking a long look, the right side fridge is different than the left side... Ie: look at bottom of fridge, look closely... see difference... would have been sooooo much nicer to have both fridges look the same. Still a very interesting idea! |
