Are you using a USB serial adaptor?

You need to change the settings in DriveWare to match the COM port displayed for the RS232-USB interface on your computer's Device Manager panel.

Or U could just have a dead port on the PA+. When the USB cable is plugged in, does the PA+ show up on ur device?

from what iv read on the dbx forum the usb port is for updates only, iv updated it so the port works.

problem is the interface is like fort nox! why make something so simple so hard Angry all this hi mid low shit is just a piss take. ended up replacing it with an ultradrive just to get sound for last night

I don't find the interface on DBX to be that bad, but I do find it irritating that the parameter maneuvering is different for different processing components.  Like the crossover, you hit the page arrow to go to the different bands, but in the parametric EQ you have to keep hitting the EQ button to go different bands.  I have gotten used to it, but it is very hard for anyone else to use it... which is not really such a bad thing for me.

OK. been trying to update mine fr Win 7 (Ultimate & Home Premium). No joy.
PA+ not showing as a USB device.
Tried today w Win7 Starter and it worked perfectly. Try to disable firewall/antivirus temporarily.

Might work for U.
