Yes... as long as the plan you're looking at is the same as the one I am! ( http://wizardaudio.hu/hasznos/hangfal%20tervek/bass/bass%20reflex/B&C%20Sub%2015%201.jpg" rel="nofollow - This one )

Also bear in mind the wood thickness is 19mm in the plan, so you might have to re-adjust to accommodate the timber you're using.

Internal dimentions.

Mine is in 18mm stock so +/- 1.5mm around the port brace.

Thanks,

It will really depend what driver you put into it. I'm sure there are plenty of 15s out there which will make a bit of bass and still sound alright a few hundred Hz up. But then you run into the vocals coming from the bass bin modulation problem.

When I had 15s I used to run them up to 110Hz max.

If I load this cabinet with faitalpro 15FH500 loudspeaker should I tune it up a bit (@ 45 hz) ?
Simulations look fine with 40 hz tuning @ rms power, but exceed the xmax @ double rms by 2 mm+I want it to sound good in the upper bass(110-120 hz)

Need a little help here.
I have decided to build 2 x b&c sub 15 loaded with 15FH500 loudspeakers(4 more if they sound good) and tune it a little higher @45 hz because of the excursion being exceeded with my drivers.
Can you guys suggest the optimum way to construct the grill support so that it does not affect the port.In my design the baffle is 50 mm inside, the cabinet of course is 50 mm longer to keep the inner volume the same.Maby corners with triangle shaped wooden pieces and rectangle pieces in the middle, under the driver?
I will add a drawing of what I am referring to.

Thank you.

cut 40-45mm battons and add them around the adge like this
http://s689.photobucket.com/user/hmaaudio/media/417241_10151729086451917_1617994820_n_zps6ebhzfy2.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">

if you using a grill with the edges bent over then use a 5mm shim to attach the battons away from the edge

cheers
Adam
