twin 1850's would be huge mate there must be a more compact 2 x 18" hron to build or just 16 x 1850's hope you have some good tops as i used to have 4 and they were brutal! also on another note nice dj name man we seem to share it haha :)

You can't be serious, right?!

How the hell do you intend to move them? Get them into venues (DOORS!!), transport them, LIFT THEM?

This must be a windup...
Moving a regular 1850 is enough of an effort but a double?! No chance.
What possible benefit could there be from doing that apart from the single piece of ply that you would save (weight of like 3 kg)??

A single 1850 weighs at least 150 lbs. if neo loaded.  A twin would weigh at least about 290 lbs.  The depth on a single box is too wide to go through a single door.  Maybe for an install, but a twin would not be a mobile setup.

-edit, oops sorry about the non-metric weight.  In metric, an 1850 weighs...  ummm.... a lot.

Its not the right driver for the box. If you just got 1850 horns or WSXs, or any other FLH you could run them up to 130/140 fine and just use them as a one way bass cab, especially with 8 a side.

Their is a Russian guy who has made double 1850's they are called meat grinders v1 and v2 and their is no way you will ever get the plans off him and I know it's been patented so be careful chucking some together then posting it over the net

Meat-grinder has nothing to do with the 1850 horn, but then again you could build the double 1850 horn and V-plate them while building , all you need is big garage-door for storage and outdoor gigs .

ConfusedI used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out.Ermm

But in singles, otherwise they won't go through doors.

If you own a warehouse and a semi truck and trailer and forklift and don't mind hiring grunt labor to save your back and always work in venues with truck loading dock, then there is no reason not to make double horns.  Anyone else will splurge for the one extra side panel of wood and speakon terminals that would be saved, and performance will be the same, and stacking options will be better.

The Punisher has been designed to use the Ciare 12.00SW. Much better  as the 1850 in my humble opinion.
But since you already have the drivers, i guess all those 1850 horns combined are going to make s#!t load of noise!

Yeah but he said use ciare in labhorns which was incorrect. I only corrected him.

I never said anything about punishers using lab12's...
