 yes something like that but whats the advantage of this design over the straight horns with phase plugs

The true mid range horn is actually a straight one with a phase plug. And yes the intention of the design were to make a very compact and transport friendly 3-way horn top with a wide response (both with regard to dispersion and bandwidth). ------------- A proper build subwoofer will be the only thing in a room that is not shaking. |
