recently had to format my laptop, upon re installing the mbox & audacity for some reasons the recordings are coming out distorted and have a click every so often. As im recording if i monitor it voa the head phone out option its fine, once played back via the pc its pretty nasty. any ideas guys? cheers rich ------------- one life - have fun! sounds like incorrect sample rate conversion? try resetting the sample rates and bit depths to match the file you're trying to play back and make sure your software isn't doing unwarranted SRC. I recorded a band I was mixing the other day and didn't notice the interface had reset itself to 8 bit operation. the result was fully bit-crushed audio, totally ruined, I'm gutted :( ------------- Studio45 - Repairs & Building Commotion Soundsystem -Mobile PA |

I've checked the sample rate an other things, what's SRC? I've just looked online and it says the mbox doesn't have a official windows 7 driver, I used to have w732bit, I think it's now 64bit so this could be my issue? ------------- one life - have fun! Force fusion pro audio |
