Hi, I would like to clarify a few things,

First of all do I need to put wadding in these speakers and if so would I just cover the back of the speaker inside?

Second is on the diagram it has dotted lines twice half way down the front and showing on the side view, are these braces? One looks like it may support the horn inside but what is the next one down for which appears to be part way across the bass speaker but further back?

Many thanks.

Some wadding in the back of the cabinet would probably be useful, yes.

The dotted lines are pieces of timber mounted across the cabinet to stiffen it and prevent the panels flexing - the upper one runs from the front to the back and the lower one from side to side.

HTH,
David.
