I'm locked out of one of my DB Mark LMSs!

It came back from a job with a password set on it! (??????????)

Any idea how I can reset the password immediately so that I can prep this rack for tomorrow morning!?

Thanks!

P.S. Forte Audio number rings forever.....

no mention of a factory reset in the (engrish) manual.

if tony doesn't come up with anything, you might have to open it and remove the mos battery for a bit.. that'll cause it to forget anything you've saved in it though.

should have a couple of these to play with soon..

Just sent an Email to the OP.

There is an unlock code, non of this hold two buttons whilst powering up and allow any numptie to cock up the settings stuff.

Worth remember, ing if these go out on a dry hire make sure they are locked down before they are left unattended, saves anybody messing.

Not that easy to enter it + there is an option to lock the unit down inc. front panel controls, don't forget password or carry a laptop round with you. :)

Just to let everyone know a password was sent and all is now well. I actually needed a new code from dB-Mark and they got back to me within 15 minutes and it was out of hours for them.

Yep unreliable lot these Chinese

I suppose I deserve that but it was a bit of a low blow, try getting an answer off anybody else in a similar position within a week.

As soon as I was aware of the problem I did nothing but try to sort it out.

As it happens I was in a part of Wales without any mobile coverage, but hey-ho

Not at all mate, as far as I am concerned you are one of the guys I would trust implicitly.

Just that a few posts from the superman contingent have got to me.

Normal service will be resumed asap :)

Many thanks for getting this sorted for me! Big smile

From now on I'll make sure I lock the controller so that randomers at a wedding disco can't!

just put a disclaimer saying your SAE stuff is incompatible with scoops, and they will ignore you...

Nice demonstration of why it is better to buy from a reputable dealer than some anonymous internet shop, I doubt Amazon would have tapped up a supply for Tech info and then sorted a customer like that!!!

Not at all, no thanks needed, in view of the current "wanted" thread issue, I feel more than ever some people need the obvious pointed out, man with a exposed company website and profile, 4K5 + posts on here, never pushed any product, but when your sh1t hits the fan, he rocks up with the Andrex to sort you sort.

This is why I am a forum member, I try and help people out, people help me out, I would be lying if I said I haven't generated a lot of business from being on here, mainly boxes of Strongbow, but I give a f--k about stuff, as you obviously do, someone buys a DSP from you and the £40K FK1 rig daddy bought them sounds crap with (because they racked it upside down and used Out 8 as Out 1...) you'd be flamed to hell, you do what you always do, and help out, no-one would think to rant about that...

So Big smile to you!!!!

Hi Tony,

I know these posts were quite some time ago, but I have a DB-Mark DP48+ and a DP48 mkIV that an installation engineer put a pass code on and now neither the install company nor anyone at my venue remember what was set.

Do you have reset codes still?

Urgently need to check change some settings as it wasn't set correctly during the install and we have had a few blown drivers.

Thanks,
Dave
