Hi there,

Recently purchased two punisher cabs along with brand new 12.00sw drivers. Unfortunately on closer inspection the cabs are v1s (with the shallower rear chamber).

My understanding is that using v1 cabs with v2 drivers causes severe heat issues due to the constricted vent on the rear of the drivers.

Does anyone have experience of running punishers in this configuration? Was hoping to get away with just running the puns 1 per channel off an Matrix STR2400 (650wRMS per driver) until we can purchase some v2 or v3 cabs. Will this be relatively safe as long as the amp is kept out of clipping?

Cheers

Jamie
