Horn doesn't go all the way to the top and bottom edges, that won't make a line

There are one or two line array plans around the internet if you look extremely hard... Start reading! :)

try looking through the 'new projects' threads for ideas...

Any reason why 2 x 10" specifically?
What power ratings etc,  and what are they going to be used for, I am sure with some extra info you will get some help on here...

Hold on, there is a problem with the HF.

It isnt formed from CNCed Ali, and doesn't feature 0° dispersion in the vertical.

I offer you some technology from the 70's Wink (Or stolen from "a farm")

Wire transfer 10000 pounds and i will give you a plan. It is simple as that.

Otherwise start reading a lot. Like 6 months to one year worth of reading so you could say ok, i am now ready to make a fully functional but yet totally line array look a like box that is not really a line array.

Oh BTW, even if you transfer me 10K UK pounds, i dont think you will be able to live with the cost to make the real box. Meaning a proper line array. Not some horizontal box that can be hanged as a line.

Well it will teach others to not come on here and ask for things instead of researching

He's probably glued to a armchair and has child labour making the designs........who knows

I swear indians nearly always get abused on this forum. I wonder why that is... ?

Edit: Well maybe not abused but made fun out of.

Posted By: MarjanM
Date Posted: 22 March 2014 at 2:25pm
Because they have vastly grown in member number here after my visit in India. maybe a coincidence maybe not. But sure does seems suspicious.
Secondly, the market there is overflowed with boxes made out of SP posted here. Not talking about someone made a few for personal use, but commercial builders making 100s of them.
have they aver compensated the plan owners for that? No they didnt.
Plus, they have totally no idea what they do over there. The lack of knowledge is shocking. You have no idea what kind of boxes i have seen there.
Just like this question about a line array with two 10s and one 2 inch.
Does any 2 inch line array WG even exists? I am not aware of any. So that need to be a custom job.
Do they have the knowledge to do that? No! Even here maybe a few can do it right.

Plus i dont see any difference in the treatment to anyone that registers here and go strait to "give me plans for XX box".

I totally agree with your post. I didn't mean to say it's just the Indians that are treated that way but it just seems that they are the majority of the people that ask for plans here.

I might be nieve but there are plenty of "line array hf horns" available, just bite the bullet spend the money and buy them and get going, you will ultimately fall down on the rigging and getting it certified

Haha yes all jokes aside though i wanted to see if 4 would fit into a flight case i have lying about hence the card cutout + it meant i had the panels to hand to see in there form. If its one thing I have learned about all the speaker plans you build them and they are huge! :) underestimation of there actual size have always baffles me! :)

Line Array cabs are easy, they are basically made to squash in lots of components which have a hard job to work properly until you get the magic box of tricks plugged in. It's the rest of the contraption that is harder and more expensive to do.

Thanks for your answer on my Plan Request & i appreciate your thought process about Indian peoples :)

Vajra, what's wrong with what Marjan said? He was just stating facts.  I, being an Indian, fully agree with what Marjan has said. It's shameful to see the kind of cabinets and drivers that are used around here and it's even more shameful to see the kind of "line array" systems that we have here. The entire country is filled with P audio drivers, that would you make you want to throw up. The T.S. parameters on some of these drivers have to be seen to be believed. It's appalling.  Then you have so many RCF fakes floating around that I bet even RCF would not have produced in their entire years of existence. One company sells "line arrays" that are a "original copies" (what ever the F**k that means) of the D&b Q1. Another "importer" sells empty boxes of the D&B Q1.

I saw a DAS Aero 48 last evening. The owner proudly told me that the cabinet is "china DAS". What the F**k. Shocked Angry
