Firstly is there a off the shelf double design that will suit the Fane Sov-Pro 600

if not is there a simple/easy way of converting round port holes to a shelf port?

for example take the Fane 125L Reflex cab 4 x 100mm ports, so how would you calculate it to a shelf port, i want to build a double 15" G-Sub style cab

anyone kindly help please.

Thanks...

I've done a single 15" with the fane sov-pro 600LF with good results.

Do you have bass box pro?

i have a pair of these i am looking to seperate the compression drivers out and build a new enclosure G sub style with a shelf port...

no idea where to start on getting a sound i want

i use them currently over two super scoops and it sounds pretty good but i hate transporting and lifting them...either a G sub type plan with shelf or two single 15s for ease of lifting

any help is appreciated...

G-sub style cabinet is not going to be lighter than a 2x15 +1" box.

Are you discarding the compression driver and use the 2 15" drivers as an upper bass box? Do you plan to add another mid/top?

i plan on keeping the compression drivers and making an enclousre for them alongside some 10" speakers to go on top.
I understand it wont be lighter but currently the speakers sit very tall and they are not very deep which makes it hard to strap them down, and they move quite a bit during a session...
I am also asking because i wanna build more, and have the whole sound done at home if possible

the other option as stated is a single cab for each 15 to make it easier to lift and transport alone

I have built a cab of the above plan, I know its designed for soverign 15-600 but how would fane 15xb's or fane sov pro 15-600lf's perform in this box?

I'm planning to use this cab mainly for 70-140hz duty above subs and occasionally at small gigs as a sub..

Since your inteded use is as an upper bass cabinet, i see no reason why you would put (more expensive) subwoofer drivers in there. Use the drivers the box was initially designed for! Unless you already have said drivers already at hand.

I will occassionally use the box for sub, I also want the drivers to be as tough and durable as possible as I dont want to kill any more drivers lol...

How do you think these would behave in groups of 3-4 with the fane 600 driver? Would you get much extention below 40hz by allowing them to couple?

I'm sure groups would sound great, this is going to be single box for kick mostly..
Can anyone say whether the drivers I mentioned work well in this box? Or maybe it would make sense to stick with the cheaper specified drivers..

single boxes will be fine for each 15" otherwise...
plan is to put the 2" compression driver in its own top box either iwth the passive crossover or run another amp
