Hi.
Do anyone have complete plans over a working unity or synergy horn.
2 or 3 way.

Short answer is no. You will have to do your research to figure out how they work and design your own. The synergy patent is pretty clear, there is a monster thread on DIYAudio of 100+ pages which explains the science behind them quite well too if you wade through it.

There are a lot more distributed resources out there, you'll just have to dig around the internet a bit. The closest to what you want are some guides and spreadsheets written by Bill Waslo and his CoSyne horns which might help a lot with woodwork.

You'll also want to be able to use horn response or Akabak to simulate what you design. It won't get you a perfect result but it's a lot better then nothing. There are example Akabak scripts for DIY Unity/Synergy horns around the web and many tutorials for each piece of software.

People on this forum have designed and built them. I'm designing a pair now that won't be built till mid-2016. If you ask thoughtful questions you'll get an answer but because the are a patented design and because they take so much effort to prototype and build people are going to be reluctant to provide full on plans.

Edit: Not to be a complete downer Smile I would say that once you have done a bit of reading a 2 way synergy is actually pretty easy to design and build if you use sealed back mids. You don't have to care about the cab being sealed so the woodwork is quick and easy (relatively) and you can change the position of the mids and taps without too much hassle until you are happy (or not) with performance. Where the magic lies is successfully integrating a lower mid driver into the enclosure as now you need a sealed cabinet and depending on the LF extension required you might have to port the enclosure at the right resonance frequency and physical tap position to get a good frequency/phase response. If you need to rebuild at this point, that's a project! And this is where as accurate as possible a simulation before you start making sawdust helps a lot.

Dear fellow member.
Thanks for the swift reply. I have been trawling the Inet and coherent forums for info (including some of the 100+ pages thread), and think I am wiser now than before. Being pretty confident in my woodworking skills, this was the last cry out before sawdust is being made.
I will see if I can get my hands on horn response...
Thanks!

I'd recommend reading the whole DIYAudio thread over a few days, you can learn a lot from other people's mistakes there. And the threads on this forum are quite useful too. I think it was Mike Seddon who make some example akabak scripts available on his website too. Definitely read the Synergy patent too, it is quite clear as patents go.

And then indeed start practising with Akabak and Horn Response simulation. Don't try and go for the full thing straight off if you are new to it. Start with simple models of smaller horns and boxes and then build up from that when you get more confident.

Your first solid task is to decide on what mid and compression drivers you can obtain where you are, then have a go at building a 2-way cab with those and go from there...
