Has anyone on here ever built this:
http://www.martinsson.cc/blog/index.php?m=05&y=13&entry=entry130529-185232

Gonna use it at home and maybe in a car, probably gonna use the recommended driver which is b&c 10nw64 any ideas for cheaper alternatives welcome. I have a reflex at home but just kinda bored and wanna try out something new and also eager to try it out in the car in the future.
Also any recommendations for plate amplifiers?

Yes in the end, i tried looking for alternatives and its not worth it. Actually b&c is the easiest drivers to get here for me i just dont wanna bother ordering from abroad or dealing with shady guys so i will go with the 10nw64.

Did you do any simulations on it?
-I don't see any on Martinssons page...
Curious about sensivity of that little monster.
I'm building an extended version of Tham12, sims 103db +-3Db from 40-hundred & something
+A pair with mouth extension does it from 35 / 36 hz

I dont know how to do simulationsSmile ,but i think i seen some on google on some swedish forum or somewhere, well it states that it plays from 25-90 i believe the man. Its for hi-fi/home use so i dont think it gets loud as the tham does.

Hard to see, but seems like a small spike at 80 hz and then a HUGE dip down to 125hz?

Woah big sound ,a bit too big for my room actually (insert neighbours joke here ).
No scientific measurements have been made , just a listening test.
Clearly audible from 25hz (some driver farting down there, think gonna have to seal it with more than t nuts) crazy spl in the 40-50 range could be the room tho, heh.

The sound i like very much although i think it will be too much for my small studio .
This is biig living room bussines.

I'll be interested to see measured results. We're planning on building some tham12s and was looking at maybe sticking one or two of these underneath.

While definately loud for home purposes it is not PA loud.
I also put em under qsc k10s  and it doesn't come close matching them, a 25hz PA tapped horn needs to be HUGE.

I  like this thing so much already im  day dreaming of making a 21" version Big smile
Easier said than done as i never dabbled with designing anything, done some scaling today and it ended up being 1550mm tall. So i reckon pure scaling wont work on any level.

Btw wheres Martinsonn, havent logged in 4 months and the latest blog posts are also 6 months old. Hope all ok , any facebook contact/group?
