Evening Chaps!

I have a Yamaha Rev500 that's taken a whack to the input potentiometer. Needs a new one as its completely obliterated!

I have sourced the service document and it is a Panasonic EVJC20 10Kohm 2gang, which of course is now discontinued and not in stock with farnell. Cry (never easy is it!!)

So my question is do any of you fine gentlemen have any knocking around the shed, or can anyone recommend a suitable replacement?

Thanks in advance!

Jimmer

Do you know the full device number? From a quick browse it looks like it might be a 14mm wide pot? If so Alps have a 14mm range too which look fairly similar in pinout (a lot of pots do have similar footprints).

Is it a dual log 10k pot? If so a part that might do is RK14K12A0A3C (no bushing) or RK14K12B0A0E (with bushing).

Hi mate!

I have exactly the same problem (my REV500 hit the floor during a bump in at the Australian Hotel, Wingham) and the input pot is terminally smashed.

Were you able to source a replacement EVJC20 10Kohm 2gang or did you end up wiring in a pair of 5ks instead? The Alpine equivalent pot is proving tricky to source!

Cheers - Dean
