Hi, below is a pic of a 2.2k x over from an NJD cab. I'm using same hf, CDXi1545 but slightly more efficient 15. The top is a fraction too, "dumbed down".  Not a lot, just a bit. Blue and brown wire go to top. Am I right in thinking if I lose one of the double stacked resistors I might gain a little?

You don't need to loose a resistor you need to replace both resistors in the l pad to give less attenuation.

It looks like a pretty basic 12db/slope LC xover but the resistors could be wired in several ways. Could you draw out the diagram of the circuit with component values and then I could give you an exact answer.
