Hi,

I stumbled upon this LMS whilst searching for some cabinets. Has anyone used or know this processor. It's going pretty cheap and wondering if it's compareble or a step up from the dcx. Those 8 outs could come in handy.

Cheers

Thanks, that was quick.

I can't seem to find much info on the unit or alldsp alltogheter. Maybe try to get a demo going or something.
Going from the commercial talk they cater for a couple of high end companies so maybe they are worth it.
Asking price is about £180 so might be on to something.

Look very nice & 8 out is certainly rather useful, but note the filters only go up to 24dB/oct.

i've only encountered one in the real world, and it was a void one.. and it broke. i think power supply. i know kyle (toastyghost) said they were dropped by void fairly quickly after problems (i think he said that. i don't know what problems..)

id imagine the void unit didnt have such a long run partially due to the fact that the amps they suggest for their systems [powersoft atm isnt it that they mostly supply with their systems now?] all have dsp built in, this is just a guess tho. if that is the same unit that void were doing for a while the limiters are apparantly some of the best about on a unit like that, cant comment directly never owned or used one though.

it is, if its fully unlocked and works with the alldsp software which i somehow doubt..
Seller is a dutch salesman, i have contacted him already + asked for software check etc. - to no avail.. would have bought them all at that price, quite like those units ;)

I use a 226 from AllDsp in a high end audio system and it's sound quality is excellent( not using its limiters though so can't vouch for them nor its road worthiness) it bettered my xta 224 by a significant margin- which came as a pleasant surprise. Looks like Voyd are still listing them on their website.

Not possible for genuine AllDSP. So either chinese one or stolen.
