Hi guys can anyone recommend a 3 way stage wedge for dj use.
Currently using a pair of Sherman ca6s which are plenty good enough, just in the jobs where there's screens behind the dj there just a bit too big.

I'm thinking a 15 on the low end 6.5 & 1" or similar.

Looking for used prices around £1500 a pair give or take.

Any recomonedations please.

Personally for DJ's a standard 15"+1.4"/2" is fine.  I'll probably get flamed for this but most DJ's are mostly deaf and just want it loud.

Three-way boxes do sound better but often lack the ability to cut through.

However you might want to consider something like the Martin Wavefront 3's or the install version thereof.

We've got a Pair of Void Stasys Phils we'll let go for that amount. They are a Twin 15" and a 1.5". Big guys but, if you have a couple of cases or some wheels to sit them on they are ideal for Dj Mons. Every DJ I've ever used them for has loved them and because of the Twin 15's they go plenty low enough. They also make great stand alone cabs for smaller gigs etc. They are bi amped but need very little if any EQ. They have cover's too. PM me if interested or something.

Thanks mate, I dj my self well used to and I absolute the the ca6 so I'm kinda hooked on a 3 way box Now, just need that ca6 in a wedge format, now that would be ideal 🤔

Something like this with a pair of 15s would be pretty much on the money for us

Been looking at both those.

The ca6 is a 15, wasn't sure on the low end of a twin 12

A pair of 12" drivers will leave a single 15" behind pretty much every time.

My worry is that they won't, we have a p audio 15" thats been recones at RMJ in the ca6's and also have a few turbo TFM 212 wedges and the 15 leaves the 212s standing on dj mon duty.....

Unless it's just the tfm212s that are poop

Ah fair play? We just use them for vocals mainly with a bit of music in the mix

So a decent twin 12 three way for the same money, I'm guessing the martins won't come in at that, havent seen the lab offerings with any prices attached either

Tfm350 go for about £1k a pair now. Even Lemmy would ask you to turn them down.

Come over and have a listen to Phil's if you want mate. We might have four to let go soon ourselves - they're not a wedge but a lot of DJs explicitly don't want wedges!

OR single 15 and a 2''

EAW fk300 go from 110hz up. I think the 212's only go from 110hz upwards.

If you can find any, I had a pair of the upright ones, can be tri amped twin 15, twin 7 on a lovely fibreglass horn and 1 inch.
