Just been a bit interested in what gear was used back then as I quite like the early 90s rave/ hardcore/ early jungle. This was a legendary rave rig, my mate had his ears pummeled but this a few times. Who made those bins... any details on them? What amps etc were used?

Never heard of them, will do some googling thanks :)
What were these rigs like? Proper trouser flapping I would think with more than 10 X 18s but I guess the drivers wouldn't have had much excursion?

they look a lot like EV / Shuttlesound motivators - those had 2x 15's, a 2" on a HP66 and a 1" on a smaller flare.

Yep it was Wembley B-lines and Motivators.

Rig was run by a guy called Gary.

Motivators where nice.

2 dissimilar 15s, an EV and a Gauss in separate chambers run in parallel IIRC

They sound like a nice bin... really really heavy though I bet?! Rare now I should imagine.

Nice :) I looked up the B lines and you can still buy them new by the looks of it. Must be a good design? 10mm Xmax, 800w rms and 25hz FS- very impressive driver for the time and still impressive now!!

So the rig was hired off this guy Gary but permanently used in Sterns during the time the club was running?
