It's definitely a PD unless it's a very new enclosure. Some of our subs feature a custom driver (If the model number starts with PD.DF), but PD/Fane can generally provide re-cones if you let them know the model number.

Thanks all. Yes its the low profile model. It's currently fitted with a Soundlab driver (!) which is why I asked the question. Maybe the culprit thought that since the cabinets come from Liverpool, the driver ought to as well...

Hmmmmm... definitely not original! I shall ask Mr Fletcher about it tomorrow...

Originally this would have been a PD.DF.15/A, PD/Fane don't want to produce these any more so we now use a Celestion FTR15-4080FD.

Hope that helps.

Exactly the same model of Celestion driver is fitted to a pair of Adlib Audio AA15HL subs that that I have.

This is a sort of "mini scoop" design, rather than a sixth order band pass being talked about in this thread.

Does anyone have any comments on this?

It's not at all surprising to see the same driver in use in multiple cabinets... however I will ask the question!
