I've been asked by a customer for a projector to project 'branding logo's' onto quite a small space approx 100cm x 60cm, multi logos that can be easily changed so that rules out the single gobo projectors.

Would an LCD project be able to do this? then the source could be from a PC / DVD.

TIA

yes an lcd rojector could do that, alltho dlp projectrs are better in the long run as the bulbs dont dim. lcd projector bulbs tend to get dimmer about 500 hours in to their life.

and also the projector must have vga and comsit inputs for dvd/pc

why is that then ? - is that an artifact of the chip, as both projectors tend to use ultra high presure ( UHP) mercury arc lamps.

personally i can not stand small / cheap dlp projectors as you get the rainbow effect from the colour wheel

you can get muti slide projector units from optikinetics, but they cost, and a projector would probably be a simpler and cheaper solution

What i was thinking was a very basic domestic unit - think home LCD projector BUT can it project an image down to say 100cm x 60cm from a distance of about 4-6M

Most domestic projectors will struggle to project an image that small from that distance - they are equipped with very short throw lenses in general

Having a quick google its seems alot of cheapy domestic units will do an image of 2.5ft diagonal - what would be the minium distance from projector to screen? Sorry this is new to me always been a noise boy!
