Has anyone ever used protectakote to finish horns? I think it is a great Idea, it's so hard wearing
heres some info Protecta-kote is a unique, advanced formula polyurethane anti-slip paint, incorporating rubber granules to give a totally flexible anti-slip (non-slip) finish that will not flake, chip or peel. With no mixing or blending required, it can be easily applied to almost any surface including metal, concrete, wood, fibreglass, plastic and rubber leaving an attractive textured anti-slip finish that is resistant to impacts. For more information click here. Its expensive however it really protects the ply http://www.anti-slip-paint.co.uk/protectakote-litre-grey-p-11.html any input welcome! Will |

Check his other posts, he seems to be building some 186s.
Truck bed lining is a great speaker finish. It's just near impossible to spray yourself

i looked a while ago at their products for boats/speakers, and at £90 for 4 litres i might as well paint the boat in pure gold!

hey
i tried a small tub of this a few years ago and to be honest wasn't that impressed. The coverage of the rubber granuals was a bit patchy and hit or miss and didn't look especially neat or professional so didn't use it for the production cabs. If i was looking at truck bed liner would defo have a look at Line X instead and find a local shop. k |
