if you are gonna push 1500 into a punisher i would recomend that you raise the HPF to atleast 40hz... i began to hear mine bottoming out when pushing 1200watts through them with a HPF at 35hz. yeah defo get a better amp. that behringer amp will prob die in the next week or 2 if your giving it a hard time.
whats your budget????

You could pick up a PLX3402 or maybe a PLX2 3602 for that money. Put out easily enough in bridge mode to power a pair, and they're switch mode so lightweight.

without spending money, you could use the 50Hz hpf instead of 30Hz. Also, instead of switching it off to let it cool down, leave it on so the fan stays running and turn the gains down.

I've been biting my tongue on this thread for sometime now...but since it's been resurrected I'm going to jump in.... The EP2500 is rated for 2400 watts at a 4-ohm load in bridge-mono… A popular amplifier sizing rule of thumb recommended by several manufacturers is 2.5 X the continuous rating of the load… I’m not certain what the continuous power rating of the Ciare 12.00SW is…but I would guess it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of 650-700 watts (I might be too conservative)… This would calculate to approximately 1300 to 1400 watts at 4-ohms for two Punishers… I recently installed nine EP2500s and it's a killer amp for the $money$ ($278.00USD)...but it's underpowered for a Punisher loaded with the Ciare 8-ohm driver...
