Knowing that there's many people on here who must of supplied many of the rigs for the rave years, I'd love to know what systems I was dancing too. Especially the acid house years '88-89 but manly '90-95.

I remember my local club The Brunel Rooms(Swindon) had a Turbosound setup, I was always right in front of the stack, which would make sense for my shitty hearing now! As I remember it was spot on.

I never even thought about the systems back in the day, I don't remember even seeing that many, probably for some unrelated reason! I remember seeing the flyers with '100K turbosound' I suspect that was bullshit but back then that's the crap you looked for.

So would be greatly appreciated if anyone would share there stories.

Cheer's

I know a lot of the Dreamscapes etc were done with Martin F1/F2 and EAW kf850 boxes.

Some of the big clubs like The Hacienda etc had Court Black Box from what I have heard (Never went there) was too young.

Loads of places had the Flashlight / 21" combo.

Hacienda had (mid 90's) Ev MTL4 infront of stage with Community tops hung either side of stage and around. To the right of the dj booth was a huge stack of boxes made to look like cabs but were never on. Just looked good.

Original Renaissance in Mansfield had a propper mishmash of Bose, jbl 2in horns mounted on some 4x 12in homebrew cabs loaded with rcf. Bass was a load of unbadged 15s.

Went to a couple of the DIY nights around Nottingham in various woods but was too ..... to see what they were

I remember the Brunel rooms system, TSE118/218 + TMS4. They eventually had some A.S.S in room 2.

Fantazia was pretty much always big stacks of court black box.

Everything at the Rivermead Reading was Wembley b-line / Community RS880 (with the exception of Nitrous EV MTL4).

Evolution Farnborough was court black box

I could go on, and on!...

Wow, didn't realise they had that much in there - I have a hazy memory of 4 TSE218 & 2 TMS3 per side.

Good times...

By the end it was mental, 4 TMS-3 a side sat on 2 TSE-218s main stacks, another 4 "death-stacked" (vertical, mids coupled but splayed) sat on 4 more TSE-218s facing the door and an arc'd array of 8 TMS4 on 21s between the cloaks and main door facing back into the room...
36 EV 1", 36 10", 24 15", 24 18" and the  block of 6 21s in front of the stage and 8 under the TMS-4s...

Mental....
