The thread went off topic a bit.
The traditional measurement of damping factor of amps is silly, it takes the resistance of the VC and divides that by the other resistances in the circuit. It doesn't help at all! Can we measure damping/control of bass better? Anyone got any ideas?

Where:
ZL = The impedance of the loudspeaker(s)
ZAMP = The output impedance of the amplifier
RW = The resistance of the wire times 2 for the total loop resistance
