Cool Edit Pro has a filter that can do it. It removes anything that is panned dead centre. It removes most lead vocals but does take bits of other stuff away at the same time.

It's not really possible, unless there is nothing behind the vocals in the first place, there is programs that try to do it but they also affect the whole track, but there was something on the news lats year some time that was meant to be revolutionary in doing this ,i'll try remember what it was called and Get back to you

If you're trying to isolate vocals from a track, online AI tools can make it easier. I recently used AudioModify and it did the job well.

I think that all of the current DJ programs have 'Stems' features
where you can isolate parts of a tune, drums, bass, vocal etc.

It's on VirtualDJ that I use.

Many karaoke jocks use it to generate what they need.
I started out in this business with nothing.
I still have most of it left.
