Im just refurbing some starcloths and i need some new leds. The cloths are made by Prolight Concepts (el Cheapo). They havnt got any spare leds in stock.
Anyone know what leds they take ie. wattage / voltage / specific colour. Cheers Chris |

LEDs don't really work on a basis of wattage, more forward current and intensity/viewing angle.
Voltage drop is easy enough, stick a multimeter on one and measure it if you can. From then on its just a cause of finding a replacement with a similar output intensity over the viewing angle that you want. It's really hard to tell what an LED is going to look like tbh before you buy it and fire it up, so I would probably get a bunch of 'maybes' in and have a little testing session. |
