Is everyone on here scared of showing their prices? Even peoples websites have no prices. Can you imaging going to Amazon or PAP of anywhere that doesn't tell you how much?
Hitachi wide screen TV. all the latest giizmos, not telling you how much though.. P Audio 18" dirver, prices, oooh no, we'll tell you if you send us a email. Boll**s!
Come on chaps. PRICES. How much is a scoop, how much is two....
It's everything, not everythink!

I think you'll find it's due to forum rules... there was a big to do over it a while back so now folks are being careful not to offend, prices should be by PM only, or in the for sale section... just not the done thing to talk money in the main forum you know...

Your above comments made me laugh though, out here it's exactly like that, nothing is priced and to make it worse the staff are all so clueless thay wouldn't know where to satrt looking for the price.. No word of a lie I am now in my fifth month of the process of trying to buy a cordless drill,  fairplay decent tools aren't generally available here, but "come back next week and I'll tell you what I can get for you..." took up the first month or so.. "come back next week and I'll tell you the price..." the next couple , it's now ordered and has been due to arrive every  week for ther last couple of months...
"Can I see the boss? Oh, you are the boss...

I think if its from the manufacturer themselves, its not good to put up ya prices,
but I'm sure it will be ok if someone else puts them up

I know Sonics are around 275 I believe, but he did have some up recently for 150 each

I'm going to ask all the builders for some prices, lets see what the outcome will be

you have also got to remember that the quality counts and some on here shouldn't be worth what they say

I had my uncle come and work for me when I was still in the UK and his comment for my work was....."you spend far too much time on these cabs"

when I was back in the UK a year ago, I thought I would pop and see me old mate Tony,
he was painting a cab at the time and I could see how much work was involved in one of his cabs, I said to him the same thing that my uncle said to me, Tony's response to me was...."I only know one way mike", built like tanks they are, and not shy with the paint too

well, I'm like Tony, I cant let sh*t go out the door

you get what you pay for

you can phone one man and he will tell you 400 and another will tell you the same, but put the 2 scoops up against each other and see the differances in the workmanship

Toxic used to make me laugh....."yeah! but he can do them for bla bla bla"

check the quality after the price then check all the others

and if you can see the veneer through the paint, give it back to the builder and tell him to stop lieing about the fact that he say's he's used 5 coats of paint and he hasn't

chaps! can you see the veneers through the paint? don't suppose you will answer that will you

a proper painted cab will be........

PDA
NCA
ASS
Void
Sonic (the chinese do paint ok)
Stravens

Ligwas paint looks also good, maybe China again, but I'm not 100% sure, maybe some from UK and some from overseas

the rest I haven't seen, maybe because the pictures are tooo darkConfused

its easy to build a wooden box, but you have to trust me on this, the finishing is what takes the most time and money

I can look at a cab from 30ft and tell you that the finish and work is sub standard

.....I'll get me anorak
