That's my area, only thing is, Hi-tension as I know it uses Cerwin vega. If you had the time to notice then I could ask if the system had HD215s, Hi-tension doesn't

Ape, what's the name of your sound? Are you playing out anytime between 1st & 23rd April. Wouldn't mine coming along. As Taurusty mentioned we're linking on 30th March at Ultimate Jerk.

Golden........I'm yet to find out as these are my first completed boxes to be shipped there, the difference with shipping is that the shippers charge for size, so completed boxes cost a lot more than flt packs, however, the wharf charges for the plywood even when cut to bits. I've left the completed ones unpainted and looking somewhat rough so they don't think I bought them ready made.

Ok cool, if you don't mind, let me know after to get the boxes to JA. Yeah you have to try to "beat the system" I know how that is. I was wondering which would end up costing less and wether there is a huge difference.

Knet......my system is Sweet Impression Sound, not sure what the guys are doing but I'll find out.
System may not be at it's best though as I had all my best gear stolen nearly 1 year ago, 4 days before a dance with Bass Odyssey. Not been Ja since so the guys had to use what they have.

Golden..... definitely cost more to clear completed box as shipping cost is much more than flat pack and the shipping cost is also used to calculate charges.  will let you know after.

Wound up at another dance last night with Untouchable Sound again in Long Ground, Clarendon. The guys with these boxes

I did not realise before but there is only 4 cabs here. Every cab has bass, kick, mids, horns and tops all in one. Must weigh an absolute ton. Sound wasn't much better, very honky.

Couldn't believe it at first myself until I went over and had a real good look. They are not particularly well made, had lots of vibration coming out the back of them.

That's what one would call com-mu-ni-ty cabs (house of joy springs to mind), and there I was thinking my all-in-one five way mid/top cabs are huge :-)

When you say 5 way do you mean your covering 5 different frequency bands in one cab?
