Hello Gents, it's been a while since i've been on here.
i'm looking into a new system for the vehicle... thinking of some 10's here's my issue. i'm looking for some drivers that "look" at least, live audio based. also, i'm trying for neo based drivers for weight savings. the main idea here, i want the drivers to "look" plain but sound immaculate. anyone have any ideas? looking for something with the following specs aswell: Xmax 9+mm sensitivity at least 90+ QTS 0.400-0.600 BL 18+ low VAS *space limitations* response zone i'm looking for is 35/38ish and up. most of the music i listen to is Techno, DrumNBass, classic rock, rock and metal. i'll even consider 12's. i was looking at some Beyma LX60's but not sure about their sealed enclosure capabilities. trying to keep things compact while sounded great but looking too "plain" for the average douche bag to want to steel it. |

no suggestions?
so far the items on the list are: Ciare 12.00SW *unsure of it's clarity in a setup like this* Beyma 12LX60 *last i heard about these used in a vehicle, they owned* that's what's on the list so far. i'm throwing the 10" idea out the window due to it being nearly impossible to find anything in that size within the specific characteristics that's looked for. i'm also throwing the TS spec limitations out as well. i was hopping to find the perfect mix of smooth bass with high control but that's pretty much useless when you're designing the enclosures for a sealed setup and the sound will be tight to begin with anyway. so i'm still looking for other suggestions in the 12" range. remember, it's got to be something known for the live audio field OR look plain with a low value appeal with actual high quality build. |
