an industry standard for a good reason. Sound incredible, couldn't say how they compare power wise, we bring enough kit for the job without needing to rag it.

just picked one up for 750 quid, planning on using it for sub duties, at 2500W per channel at 2 or 4 ohms running 4 pd186 /2 in total isn't gona be ragging it is it?

My subwoofer for lower notes. Got this enclosure almost for free, loaded it w/ rcf lf18x400 drivers. 6th order bandpass. Goes pretty well down to 25Hz  -  and it is damn loud / brutal thing, everything is shaking, lots of air is moving - even tho amplifier is not the best possible..old QSC model 1700, bridged to 4ohm.
(how can I rotate that video 90 degrees?)

I made quick drawing, will take some measurements soon.  This sub is not good as a standalone bass bin, because it lacks some kick / transient response (typical for bandpass).  So it needs some standard / horn bassbins for upper bass starting from 50-60Hz.

no prob.  I have been told it was originally equipped w/ JBL 2241 drivers. And it is active subwoofer, there was 1kW mosfet amplifier installed but I took it off. 16x Classic Hitachi 2SJ56/2SK176 mosfets. :)

T5ns are great I have 18 of them. They are not blow your socks off bass amps. If you want that buy Powersoft K8+

Sound lovely though. Very comparitable to the FP6400 in terms of both sound quality and power.

I would recommend getting a ACU-16 with the t5n’s

Nice one cheers for that,  is there any known issues or common faults to watch out for, what plug do you use on yours mines got a powercon, only reason I'm asking is that on the spec sheet running it at over 1/3 power it draws 17amp at 4ohms and 22.3amp at 2ohm so that would need a 32amp plug, is running at 1/3 power really giving it some or not? As it also quotes running at 1/8 power, the current draw at 1/8 is 8.1amp at 4ohm and 11amp at 2ohmn in which case you could get away with a 16amp plug, cheers

I’ve had atleast 6 - 8 go down with a transistor on one of the powersupplys coming away from the PCB a lot of mine have now been hot glued in to place. Other than that keep the fans cleaned and they are rock solid.

All of mine are on Powercon. To be perfectly honest mine don’t really get a massive pounding. Like I said before seriously amazing mid hi amp. Ok bass amp but don’t expect it to do what a K10 will do.
