Has anyone ever tried to use Socapex for Cat5? Seems to be more robust than a RJ45?

Nah Cam-lock is the way to go... can get your fingers in there to clean the dirt out...totally improves your network !

You can use cat6 instead of socapex to deliver the high level stuff  cheep and cheerful and safe.
120-140 bpm, pianos and bass.
