Saw a documentary recently about these. They set up a B&K mic in front of them to measure the gain they provided and flew a WWII plane towards it. Detected engine noise at 22Km. Check out this, the Meyer sound beam – http://www.meyersound.com/products/industrialseries/sb-1/ |
