Soundmaster VF200 Rippling Noise

   Hi All,
We have a Soundmaster VF200 Amplifier and it has started making a kind of rippling noise on one channel. The amps are very basic inside as you probably know I think based around the hitachi design from 1980. Just wondered if you could point me in the right direction as to finding the cause. I have basic electronics knowledge however my fault finding skills have not progressed far enough as of yet. I can take a picture of the inside if that would help?
