I think this is the one where the two red end panels are heatsinks Martin? It was quite a good looking thing in its day.

Yes Ive got a couple already I really like them
Am currently working on one with new turntables etc having problems with the deck starts though
Bristol is quite a drag from where I am but would be worth it

Had to post some images of this,its a very rare top-of-the-range Soundout SP18 with Technics decks...from 1978....loving the VU meters on this....amazingly it was on ebay USA.

Wow Ian, that's a real gem, never seen one of those, or even knew they did 'specials' - there's just sooooo much quality tactile-ness about that console.

Now thats a find Ian  I would love that  my daughter lives in California  but it would cost a fortune to get it back here I guess

Seems a bit odd the decks are fixed down rigidly to the top of the case  I think that would cause bad feedback and jumping issues for the decks in use
