Dodgy microswitch (ha ha ha its over an inch long).  But otherwise, new deck in - luckily the person who had hacked in the BSR deck had not removed the Garrard transit screw holes - so ...in it goes.



Very warm feeling

Looks and sounds great - all in marvelous mono

ah yes - blooming huge hole between the decks - looks like it has been made with a chisel and an angle grinder.  would there have been a grill to let air through????

I'm so jealous I wish I still had mine it sounded lovely on low but crank it up and mass distortion

https://youtu.be/8cqgBIYKs30 this is mine.  Has been modified to play cds.  Have owned this since 1993. The unit was built in 1976.  The red speakers are "Voice of the Theatre".and were built in 1972.
