do the more established sounds pay to play also? do you need them to step forward for dance style line ups where they get paid or soundchecks?

More established sounds are proven sounds so therefore able to negotiate terms that are fair to both parties.

They generally don't enter to soundcheck, but treat it as more of an entertainment exhibition.

LOL, just read on FB Tsunami sound complaining about power, saying his amps were not working to full potential cos' too many other sounds hooked up to same supply! Mmmmm, unless all the sounds are playing at once I did not think this would be an issue as amps just 'on' waiting to play would not be drawing much power (if any).

He then calls powersoft amps tin-pan and says Berry EP's are better. This man makes me laugh sometimes. I have respect for him, as I do anyone into sound system, and I think he is an entertaining selector/mic man, but as I say he does make me laugh sometimes with his 'expert' opinions.
Stone Lion Sound System, The Garden City Rockers. It's all about the music & the vibe.
