Did Ken loose some drivers later on?
After system tuning change, sound better, but after few rounds, could hear drivers in trouble. |

no lev drivers all fine, for some reason the limiters on the lms were kicking in too soon, causing a compression noise. Once limiters were released all was fine. sadly the issue did not get sorted till near the end... the noise being caused did sound like driver issue, but I opened up one cab and checked. this is when ken re checked lms settings and sorted the limiting issue... This is why its a great thing to sound check and open up ones rig and test it to the max.... When the issue first started, it sounded like baffle rattle of some sorts, and as the subs had just been rebuilt, we all thought there was something loose in em.... Limiter was set on hard and the noise was from compression......

Just would like to thank all fours sounds for taking their time and effort to represent Soundsystem Soundoff!!
Biggup:- Volcano and the biggest stack ever Channel One and their 6ft deep Subs MSS - in David and Goliath style. SSP and their last minute build powerhouse. It was a pleasure to see the massive come and support this event, especially as the late LG Lewis's memorial event was happening not too far away!!! We have plenty exciting twists coming up so stay tuned. Pics to be uploaded by weekend. |

It seems that the upgraded breakers has done the trick!!!

They were ugly, monstrous and were rattling the building more than anything else, can't say I was impressed by the sound coming out of them. However props to promoter and all four sounds for putting in the work to keep soundsystem culture relevant...
