what would be the ideal frequency response for these units 120hz to 1.2k maybe thnking a bms 4550 ontop

I'd be interested in a 10" version, too. But if this is a no-can-do, 12" would be ok. What's the upper useable cutoff and what italian speakers would be fitting?

most 12'' midrange drivers with a medium sized dust-cap will fitThumbs Up

graph above is with the Paudio SN12b, I think that driver is discontinued though?

Yup. So graph should be even more efficient with a slightly lower low end with the PE?
