As hijacking was supported by the KLF ;)
in 1991 i was into music, but didnt know what to like.. listend to Anthrax and Iron MAiden a lot, and belgian Newbeat and some commercial acid but as a 12 year old i hadn't found my niche.. but then at one day my nephew gave me a tape which started with 3am eternal and everything fell into place. Dancemusic could be organic, and hard and joyfull and and and and..... it opened the way to so much great music, memories and friends.. and then they vanished. fast forward to a few years ago and i stumbled over a work by Bill Drummond, emaild him and had wonderfull conversation about music i play and he didn't knew about.. only to find out afterward who he was.. a true artist and great guy.

back on topic; so cool you stepped in to get the owner a fair trade. karma points are on their way Midas!

The lady who originally listed it on Facebook has now put it back on, hopefully she will get a sensible offer now, there are some clearer photos of it all (to be honest, some of the cabinets look in poor condition) but have a look yourselves.

Been looking hard trying to ID the drivers, ok the HH radial horns will be HH's own CD400, (which has a weird-sized 3/4" throat, so you cant use anything else. You can't buy the diaphragms anymore either.

The cast alluminium horns i think are Celestion, circa 1974.
Not Altec, as theirs always had square corners, these are rounded.

The angled mids look like RCF L12's.

The 4560's look like they 'could possibly' be 2220's, as is a smooth non ribbed cone, and composite dust cap, or they could just be some Eminence things.

Cant identify what's in the monitors. The bullets are some kind of JBL copy.
Be seeing you.

Definitely not Altec. What a difference a larger photo can reveal.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the pictures.

Yes, HH tops, cabinet corners are a giveaway, surprised the horns are still in good nick. Those HH drivers had ferrofluid, really messy to service...

Wedge boxes look very well made. The mids and 4560s don't look bad either.

The disco dave boxes with piezos are obviously only worth whatever the 12" drivers are.
