Good morning. I did some comparisons on all 3 this morning. TC is $73.27 for a 11# pail and will cover 108-160 square feet of coverage. I could not find if that is one or two coats. Duratex is $68.60 for 9# pail and will cover 80-100 square feet in 2 coats. WX is $224.67 for a 13.2# pail and will cover 97 square feet. I tried to keep the pail sizes close to each other and priced out normal stock prices.

I have no idea what you are talking about. What is "pail"? Can you talk in normal metric language like the whole of the world does?

Americans have a habit of writing # instead of lb or pounds when referring to weight.
So...

TC         5kg covers 10-15m2
Duratex 4kg covers 7.5-9.3m2
WX        6kg covers  9m2

PS: a pail is a small bucket.

A newbie here,

What would you guys recommend for paint inside the speakercabinet, outdoor use? Just thesame as the outside (I was thinking tuff cab for the outside of the speaker). Couldn't find the answer.
Greetz,

Ah okay so it's okay for the inside as well? I thought it might be bad for the soundquality.

Tuff cab in my experience is pretty pants.

Raptor made by Upol is a much better option.

Raptor is very good, very tough, but it wont work very well over Toughcab.

Think about gluing wood a wall that has a layer of wallpaper on it. It doesn't really matter how good the wood or the glue is, or how strong the wall is. The wood is only actually attached to the wallpaper and the paper is attached to the wall. So if the wood is bumped it'll just rip the paper and fall off, it really needs to be attached directly to the wall with no weak point in between.

Similarly with the paint. The raptor might have trouble adhering to the surface of the paint, but even if it does, when it gets bumped or scraped the Toughcab will be the weak part and it'll scrape off there, taking the raptor with it.

Much better to sand down to the wood and have the raptor adhere directly to that, will be way stronger.

Sounds like the dogs danglies.

OUCH, just bit my tongue while it was stuck in my cheek!!!!!!
