ok  how would you wire  4 cabs 2x 18" in each with 2 amps ?

2 x sr707s        825w into 2x 18" (4 ohm cab) per channel -  and lose input signal from active crossover

or

2 x sr707s        each bridged into 2 cabs in series (2 cabs would be 8 ohm ) - and not lose  input signal from active crossover

cannot run 707s at 2 ohms

thanks

when linking 2 amp inputs together you lose a slight amount of signal due to them being spit

I've never had to do this but if your power amps input impedence is sufficiently high then the loss in signal should be negligible no?

* beginners section

and you wont lose signal if you daisy chain the amps once
(thats assuming the amps have an input and output)

ur not to clear on this

if the amp is powerful enough per channel to give headroom, use it this way, if it isnt and u can only get the headroom from bridged mode then bridge it is

You wouldn't be able to measure it with an extremely expensive oscilloscope. Perhaps if you linked 100 amps you might notice a small drop in input level.

it really depends on how you link them as above stated if it has an output made for linking than no. but in the case of how i do it

crossover -> XLR inputs than from the 1/4 input -> 1/4 input of the other amp. you do notice a good deal of signal drop.

and for the guy who started this you need to repost your thinking again the way you describe it is a lil confuseing.

C-Audio SR707's have xlr in/out so just make 2 small xlr f - xlr m link leads.
4 x 2x18" cabs at 4ohms per cab - one cab per amp channel.
