Check in your downloads folder in documents. All the crap you download off websites, PDFs, exe. Files etc all get stored there. Might free up some more space for you. Oh yeah and +1 on clearing out the porn also

If it is win 7 use disk cleanup to bin out all you restore points bar the last one, from an elevated command prompt type powercfg -h off this will free up the value of your ram on your HDD

also hit windows+r and type %temp% erase everything in there you can and then use an admin password to go through you docs and settings, downloads can be huge, file what you want to keep, bin what you don't, also if you use adobe look in the local data files for each user, we found 600Gb on a 1Tb SSD the other day from an After Effects session that had cached every element at full siz for the last year!!!!

and yes, clear out all your restore points and use something like "ccleaner" to clear every thing else :)

Use this:
http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/ - http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/

Do a scan of the C: drive, it will show you your largest folders and you can take appropriate action.
