Personally I would stack them so that they were 2x2 with the mouths together. I would also have to measure the other various possibilities just out of curiosity.

I once stacked them 4 high with the mouths together and that nearly blew your socks off but i do use them as you suggested.

coming back to this tread, i also dont see the need to use g-subs and the thams together.
