Two problems there:
1) the huge cavity the drivers couple into causes a big dip in the reponse somewhere, probably 80hz~120hz.
2) the drivers are so far apart that the expected reduction in distortion will only be in the bottom octave.
I admire your drive and energy in getting all these designs realized.

Great thread, thanks very much for sharing. Great finish on the cabinets.
Maybe one suggestion is that on the port assisted 18" sub you could try a longer port with a 180 degree bend in it and make it twice as long? It Should lower the cut-off frequency probably at the expense of the high frequency cut-off!

i dont sure the cab what u refer to and if mrk cab the cab is couple tl design. most of this design the port isnot too long regards |
