   Im blaming it all on Mark James  He told me to do it

Side panels for 4 x 1850's cut this evening
Jobs round house in the morning then hopefully the rest of the day clear to cut and start assembling.

The side panels have already put a smile on my face,
Will post pics as soon as I have read "How to post pics"

	Progress update Whilst there has been some progress, like all panels cut, some joined etc it does seem that the pile of timber around me just keeps growing. Spent six and a half hours today and know that there is a lot more to be done tomorrow. How many hours would it take you more experienced fellows to create four 1850's, would just like to know as a guideline to see how much i currently suck, and more importantly, how quickly i might be able to make the next four Going back to eating sawduct. Thanks in advance for your replies

	Maybe I was being a little optimistic trying to turn 8'x4' sheets into four horns, alone, in less than 2 days. Still, its a fun challenge. Your build looks great, if mine resemble anything like that I shall be happy.

	There isn't enough birch in the known universe to accomodate the number of 1850's i'd like to build I think the 1850 cabinet is an optimal design for 18" drivers. These ones look good, i hope you're using finnish birch ply ;) I miss mine, no idea what ever happened to the smooth contoured 1850's i built 4 years ago Now i'm obsessed with maxium output per unit weight, so 18" drivers are out of the equation for me.. cheers, Rob.

	That's my mate building that X1, he decided to use some pine 7 ply plywood and when he started assembling it he really regretted it because it chipped way too easily when screwing. It is REALLY light lift though. And it propels itself all around the place when driven with dubstep material with 1kw. I used finnish birch ply :) found it 18 euros per square meter (54e per sheet), really nice quality also!

	Sinfinity really take your time with them. If there's no real reason, then don't rush and perhaps destroy your work.

	pfly, I have slowed right down. Was hoping to get it done in a hurry to get them out of the store room at work, which is the only place I have available to me to built cabs that size. However, as you point out I dont want to get them done quickly, just to make huge errors during the construction. Taken quite a few hours so far to cut and angle all panels, rebate external panels etc. Got to work early this morning and managed to route the four baffles before 9am. Maybe I will be a little closer to painting after this weekend.

	First 1850 created, holes filled, sanded, undercoated and castered up. Delivered down road to testing room, Hooked up to one channel of xp3000 I am very satisfied with the result Shaking the proverbial sh!t out of the room it was in. Got to shake Mark James hand the first time I get to meet him

	Good stuff! If that was your first horn build and there were no farting air holes or rattling panels with a fair bit of power going in you may officially pat yourself on the back.
