Hi Guys,
I am trying to deciper the plans, however I am unable to determine the length of the baffle piece as well as how it should be angled. Also the same for the last piece which is almost directly opposite the driver magnet.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks much,
L

Ahh the Stapier clone.
That 60 mm measurement gives you the angle. As far as length, look to the left. See the 91.45mm distance? That gives you the length. I built my Mini clones some time ago. The first pair where continuously flared like this. 2nd pair where stepped. Guess what. No ascertainable difference besides the fact the build was much easier. My TH Minis are clones and are 609.66 (24") x 571.5 (22.5") x 381 (15") So the important things. Angle of baffle. Distance of center of driver in mouth. Make sure the steps are expanding. Distance of path. Mouth size. As a note. I used triangular wedges in the corners. No gaps. Hmm how wide is this thing supposed to be? I think TDA might have a more detail plan. I believe he built this one as well? |
