tbh, for less than 500quid new, incl. 3years warranty, i would happily carry a spare amp anytime, still wouldnt be a bad option in my books, on low budget/bang per buck/redundancy point of view only :)

systems well limited , its in a casino and they never really have it on at full on war volume as they don't want to disturb people spending money.

Layman question: in 2017, is it possible to sell any electronic device in Germany or in most of EU countries without PFC ? I saw that some public installations checked the power factor correction before putting them into use...

Otherwise, these TSA amps sound very bad (harsh like hell above half power) and it makes me sad that nobody mentions it on the 3 pages of the topic Confused . But hey what I know, inuke are selling by truck loads and its one of the worst sounding amp on the planet with its boombox IR class D controller Unhappy

Define "pushed" they are fine on my TMS 10s and 1s, churned into a bass bin I can imagine they go very wrong very quick...

I got one of them the other week it, went out on its first outing last night.

From the off when purchasing this amp; its main selling point is its price, your not going to get flagship quality product here now are you.

Cons
high background noise (considerably more the my c audio pulses)
noticeably brighter sound
when pushed (hard) it sounds harsh

Pros
4 channel
hight power output
light weight
cheap

I had it running 4x 12" 125Hz - 2Khz an 4x 1" 2Khz an above.
All channels run at 4 Ohm.
Gain on the 1" channel at half (to bring the floor noise down)

All in it preformed well when run within its limits stayed cool.

I have run 15" subs with it, which it did but felt it lack some depth and intent compared to the SAE PQM13.

Defined pusshed, shit box limters inplay???

I run mine hard with no harshness, but I don't use junk in my signal chain

Just as a point if the gain knob alters noise floors you DSp is noisy not the amp!!!

I used several of these since they came out driving all sorts of speakers, 18" BPH, 18" BR, 12" FLH, 10" monitors etc. and i am very happy with the performance.
Not a single fault, way less noise than the 4-700, and they give you all the power a 16A 230V supply can deliver. Sure, they lose control when driven into clipping, but when you leave some headroom, i cant say anything bad about the sound either.
Price performance ratio is out of this world.

DB Mark processor, not even hitting the limiter (enough gear for the job will help keep it out of the limiter)

I run hard enough but not so hard its pinging off the clip light and also keep

with nothing plugged in adjusting the gain know does change the floor noise/background hiss (on my unit anyway)

I think its a great amp for the price range you just have to be realistic with ones expectations.

Have used the TSA 4/700 (the middle brother to the 4/300 and the 4/1300) to power this at 8R, 3 x 115 and 1 x 12''/2''/1'' top absolutely fine (below), have also done a VIP bar at a festival on rather dubious supply with 2 x 115's and 2 x 12''/2''/1'' tops, again at 8r on the 4/700 - the latter being for 12 hours a day for 4 days - never skipped a beat.

Can't comment on the 4/1300 as not yet used one, and don't believe they've infiltrated the audio world enough yet, however the 4/700 is great, aslong as you're not doing anything too heavy, kick and mid high duty is fine. Have noticed the topology of the 4/700 is different to the 4/1300 and more akin to the little brother, the 4/300, which is a bit strange.

>tl;dr don't put daft bass duty on it.
