I must admit that now I've gone Powersoft, I won't be going back. It's possible to get a decent amount of power pretty cheap, and sometimes it might survive a few years on the road. However, Powersoft gives you Armonia+, a load of FIR processing, real-time monitoring of pretty much everything, as well as a decent amount of power in a compact package. It's more money, sure, but IMO it's worth it. Chris

If you go the more budget way, I would look at the Soundgear Saturn amps. I've heard good things about them (also about the service). If you're interested I am sure @timebomb can help you out.

A good portion of New Yorker's have a hustling mentality. Many will wage in the onboard processing versus power versus price ratio. Power and price usually overshadows onboard processing.

Just because your dealer wants to do a deal does not mean Powersoft have dropped their prices. These amps are copies of what Powersoft were doing 20 years ago, amps in the touring market have changed beyond all recognition in that time and are now more properly called powered loudspeaker controllers

Ok, let me rephrase then..... Due to the cvr's swamping the market in the NY and east coast area, powersoft sales have dropped, and dealers have lowered their prices to remain competitive. This is however not the 'pro' or 'touring' market. More reggae/soca sessions/fetes, carnival trucks etc. |

these are NOT serious users of their equipment, but they are part of the market and will definitely 'follow fashion' |

There is no rack deep enough to fit that. I recall looking at the specifications on that amplifier last year and, it is around 36 inches in depth. Best Regards,

An easy three man lift by the look of it. Ideal for small touring bands and DJs.
