This turned out truly awesome! I love the look of the cabinets, and you put a lot of effort into bracing, which is very very good! I would love to hear these in real life! I personally have a pair of 1850 bass horns which I absolutely love, got them loaded with eminence drivers and they play truly wonderfully, loud, deep, and the best part, is that I barely need any amplifier power at all to be louder than my ears can handle! I love horn speakers, they are the best in my opinion Smile

Wonderful builds you got! Truly lovely quality workmanship, and a great design! Would love to hear them! Greetings from Sweden :)

Progress is slow but steady. Yesterday we build some additional, more or less fancy, removable bracing for the servicehatch. Now that it is directly connected to the baffle, it is as sturdy as the rest of the box. We are really happy with the results and expect a bit more usable "high end" from it. But later measurements will have to show if thats correct.

So after a long time I now have another update for you ;)

My friend and I did all the routing for the handles and added some more bracing in the dead Spaces (mainly for reducing the risk of stuff falling/getting in there from the handles)

(The cables are fixed now, so don´t worry)

But since we liked the sound of the first one so much, we decided to replace our HD15 with two of the new ones, so we started building a second one Embarrassed While building we listened to music with two X1, the first kickhorn (not finished) and a quick and dirty prototype of our new Midtop.

And today we finally painted a first complete layer of paint on one of them (the other one follows tomorrow). There is still another layer to come and then we will do a splatter coat when we finished the rest of our new cabs -> two more X1 and the new midtops.

thats an impressive build. Bloody well done. I love the bracing. It has a lovely oldskool attitude.
